Marking World Kindness Day Haslington Lodge Care Home deliver home made shortbread goodies to Livingstone Community Hospital in Dartford.
Spreading joy and cheer, staff and residents at Haslington Lodge wanted to reach out, in what is a difficult time for most, to say hello and put a smile on many faces in a gesture of friendship and kindness.
Sally Ann Briggs, care home managerat Haslington Lodge says: “We just wanted to give something back to our community and good friends at the hospital.
Everyone is so distracted right now working hard and making the best of the situation. We felt our colleagues at the hospital deserved a treat and a reminder that we appreciate all their hard work.”
