There was much to celebrate this week at Belmont Healthcare and top of the list was receiving our Covid-19 vaccination!
We are really pleased to confirm that residents, and some staff, across three of the four sites have been given their Covid-19 vaccination. This provides all of us with peace of mind that we are one step further in beating this pandemic.
Adam Hutchison Managing Director of Eastgate Care Ltd says: “This past year has been fraught and exhausting for all of us. Keeping the vulnerable safe has been our one and only priority, so to say receiving the vaccination is a relief is an understatement.
“Of course it doesn’t mean Covid-19 has gone away, but it does mean we can relax a little in the knowledge we are much safer.”
Covid-19 guidelines will still be upheld throughout the home with rigorous cleaning and sanitizing routines and strict adherence to wearing all relevant PPE until the government advises us otherwise.
