Our amazing teams remain cheerful and upbeat. We continue to follow the government guidelines to keep everyone as safe as possible and have plenty of stocks of all the PPE we need.
It has been incredibly hard for us all not having families and friends visit our residents, but we have had to adhere to these government guidelines.
The visiting guidelines were updated this week so we have updated our visitor’s policy in view of this. We are purchasing new screens and protectors that we need to make any visits as safe as possible and ask that you bear with us whilst we wait for the equipment to arrive.
Clare Swan, Head of Quality and Compliance at Belmont Healthcare says: “Sadly we can still only have 1 permanent visitor for each resident and no children are permitted. This isn’t ideal, it isn’t how we would want it, but we have to follow the rules, the safety of our residents is our absolute priority.
“Hopefully we will be able to update you shortly with news around Christmas visiting following the information from central government after the 2nd of December.”
