It’s not every day you get complimented on the cleanliness of your kitchen but that’s exactly what happened when the local authority Food Hygiene Rating inspectors inspected Edendale Lodge Care Home.
Quoted as saying “it is the best we’ve ever seen it!” the comment had the kitchen team and manager completely wowed and speechless by such high praise.
The inspection ended with the top award of five stars being presented to Manager Zoe Kendall, which means the hygiene standards are very good.
Zoe Kendall, Manager at Edendale Lodge Care Home says: “We are absolutely bowled over to receive such praise. We take great pride in keeping our home spotlessly clean, but it’s especially good to know our kitchen hits the mark. The only thing to do now is to continue cooking up our five-star meals.”
