Haslington Lodge Care Home achieves a top score a top score of 5 from the government Food Hygiene Rating Scheme for the 14th year in a row.
The very good rating of 5 is the top of the scale rating, which means the hygiene standards are very good and fully comply with food hygiene law at all times.
Rachel Lucas, Acting Manager at Haslington Lodge Care Home says: “After receiving an inspection from a local authority food safety officer we are really pleased to announce we have yet again achieved the highest score. The inspection covered how food is handled, the cleanliness and physical conditions, as well as how we keep our food safe. To maintain this over a 14 year period is a credit to our kitchen team, we are very proud indeed.”
