Madeira Lodge Care Home enjoys a relaxing day in the build-up to Christmas with a day of jigsaw puzzles and colouring a Christmas poster.
Under no pressure to complete in time, a Santa Claus jigsaw was key to passing the time slowly whilst enjoying completely the full picture.
The gigantic Christmas poster had everyone involved in making a colourful ‘Merry Christmas’ picture. To be earmarked as a centre piece of the home’s decorations the poster will be a fitting feature hung prominently on the wall.
Sarah Pennington Manager at Madeira Lodge Care Home says: “Christmas can be a busy time for everyone, but for us we like to wind it down and enjoy the build-up with stressless festive activities. It’s a lovely time for everyone to get involved, reflect over the past year, and remember past family Christmas gatherings. We’re really enjoying participating in making Madeira Lodge Christmassy, and really looking forward to Christmas Day.”
