Haslington Lodge Care Home are hanging on to those summer vibes and will be holding its summer fete this Saturday the 10th of September.
Planned for an 11 am start, the care home garden will be hosting many visitors for a BBQ, traditional summer fete games, a tombola, raffle, hook a duck, a cake stall and many more activities.
Tracey Crittenden, Activities Coordinator at Haslington Lodge Care Home says: Everyone is invited, bring the children and have a good time. There will be a very small charge for food, but it is all for a good cause as we will be raising money for Age UK and Older Person's Day that is later in the year.
“I’d also just like to say a massive thank you to all that have so very kindly provided prize donations, it’s lovely when our community comes together to help.”
