After weeks of lockdown hair freedom, the Hair Salon at Madeira Lodge care home opens for those looking for a more professional cut.
First in the barbers seat was one keen resident eager to remove weeks of unruly hair growth with the classic request for short back and sides.
Not to miss out, Phillip was first in the queue for a bit of pampering and those all-important clippers were expertly operated by one of the home’s care workers.
Sarah Pennington says “We’ve never lost taking pride in our personal appearance throughout lockdown but it was fun to officially open our home hair salon again and feel like we were getting back to normal in some small way.”
