Celebrating the birth of spring, and bringing the outdoors inside, Edendale Lodge care home residents made their own flower arrangements during a recent craft activity.
Passing the time and creating beautiful tactile 3D images to be displayed through the care home brought a sense of cheer and optimism about the coming weeks and months into summer.
Theresa Toal, registered manager at Edendale Lodge had this to say about the activity: “For many of our residents such a creative and focused activity provides a real sense of achievement, especially when the end result is displayed with pride.
“We now have some lovely long-lasting flowers that we can display in and around the home. They certainly brighten our day.”
