The love of cricket has developed into the perfect partnership of community spirit for Crowhurst Cricket Club and Belmont Healthcare as they strike a belter of a deal to support one another.
Preserving the rich one hundred plus history of the club and the success cricket in Crowhurst is due to become much more accessible thanks to the support the collaboration will provide.
Already the award winning healthcare company has provided the club with a brand new T20 kit, which will see the players in their finest at the much anticipated Sussex Slam T20 club matches. But the support will also enable the club to maintain its grounds, attract new members, and preserve the good game of Cricket for Crowhurst.
Belmont Healthcare Managing Director Adam Hutchison says: “We’re really happy to be supporting such an important part of our local community. Through this collaboration we’re hoping to make more friends and develop wider awareness about who we are and what our services can offer.
“As the owners of the dementia specialist Crowhurst care home, Edendale Lodge, and the newly launched home care service, Belmont @ Home, we hope to be spending much more time in the community getting to know people and supporting them when they need it the most.
“More importantly, we know our residents and care teams at Edendale Lodge will love to have the opportunity to watch and enjoy cricket at the beautiful Walcott Oval. Seeing our name on the kit will fill them with great pride, we wish the Conquerors every success in the coming season.”
Crowhurst Park Cricket Club Chairman Justin Harley commented: “This investment from Belmont Healthcare is so timely and we would like to thank them. They have put their faith in us at the beginning of this new season. They share our vision for the future and see the potential for success both on and off the pitch. I also think you’ll agree they’ve smashed it out the park with the new kit.”
