Embracing changing the way we think about age, Belmont Healthcare took part in Older Person's Day celebrations last month to positively recognise the contribution of age.
Coming together, care homes across the Group held fundraising various activities tied in with raising money for The Care Workers’ Charity, a charity that supports those hard-working carers in their time of need.
From a pyjama day to fun time bingo games, day-to-day activities were ramped up with pride in caring for and supporting the diversity in the older people who have chosen to make Belmont Care Homes their home.
The final amount raised of £132.90 will be donated directly to The Care Workers’ Charity in the hope it will contribute towards the charity's Crisis Grant funding.
