Across Belmont Healthcare last Friday a pink glow could be seen as the care teams across the Group embraced the Breast Cancer Now charity wear it pink fundraising campaign.
Madeira Lodge Care Home held an arts and crafts session making their own ‘Think Pink’ pin badges. Haslington Lodge Care Home held a pink themed tea party, embracing the party theme they played games, and some came to work in their pink dressing gowns!
Andrea Vinten, Head of Communications at Belmont Healthcare says: “We can’t thank everyone enough for embracing the event in a fun and inclusive way. From pink hair to pink scarves, we saw it all and are very grateful for the £1 donation from everyone who took part. All money raised will be donated to Breast Cancer Now which we hope will go some way to help develop the valuable research and support they offer.
